Over-the-air HD radio services (including WPSU-FM2 and WPSU Jazz) are currently unavailable in the State College, Altoona, Huntingdon, and Clearfield regions. We’re experiencing a significant failure with our primary transmitter that will likely take several weeks to repair or replace. We remain committed to resolving the issue and returning our HD radio services as soon as possible. WPSU-FM2 and WPSU Jazz remain available to stream online or through the WPSU app. Listen online »

Executive order seeks to prohibit federal funding for PBS and NPR. What could this mean for WPSU?

Federal funding for WPSU helps ensure that people in central and northern Pennsylvania have equal access to free, trusted, high-quality public media.

On May 1, President Donald Trump signed an executive order prohibiting federal funding for NPR and PBS. The administration has also indicated it plans to ask Congress to rescind $1.1 billion in federal support to public media.
