You go to a local psychiatrist who has talked to other Vietnam veterans before. She urges you to attend a round table. Your fellow veterans are very understanding of your situation and listen attentively to the negative thoughts that the war drilled into your head. After the first meeting, you decide to continue seeing them. After about a month or so, you begin to feel more at ease about your experiences in Vietnam. Although the struggle is far from over, you begin to feel more adjusted to civilian life again.
