Unfortunately, when you're in a place where you're where there's limited diversity and you're one of the few black people that people know, you then become the representative of like a a group of people. It happens and it's not supposed to happen, but that's kind of the way it happens. And so people look at me they're like, “Oh there's no problem with diversity. Jason's cool. Dah dah dah dah dah.” But that's just me and I've been fortunate and I've been placed in the right situations. I've only had a few instances where I was like, “Wow that kind of sucks. That's not really cool.” But at the same time people were looking out for me, so it kind of deflated certain situations so nothing ever came of it. People have always had my back and doors continue to open for me. That is not always the case.
